Create a menu

The menu is your bar’s menu. You can have several menus (for example, a general menu and a daily menu) and order them as you like.

  1. Go to your Menus

From My Bars, click on the bar and open the View Menus section from its options.

  2. Press “Create Menu”

Use the green Create Menu button next to the list.

  3. Choose the menu type

    • À la carte: the usual menu, where each dish has its own price.
    • Fixed-price: a menu with a fixed price (for example, a daily menu). The dishes you add will not have an individual price.
  4. Fill in the name and description

For each of your bar’s languages provide the menu name (required). You can add a description and a footnote (for example: “drinks not included” or “service included”).

  5. Configure the fixed-price menu details (only if you chose “Fixed-price”)

Enter the menu price (€) and mark the days available on which it will be offered.

  6. Choose the status

Active: the menu is shown on your bar’s profile. — Inactive: the menu is temporarily hidden.

  7. Save the menu

    Press Save.

Everything you fill in when creating the menu can be changed afterwards. From the menu list, press Edit Menu in the menu’s options to update its name, description, type, status, price and available days.

In the menu’s options you also have Move menu, to move it to another bar, and Clone menu, to duplicate it in the bar you choose. In both cases select the destination bar in the dialog that opens and confirm.

From the menu’s Options you can open PDF to generate a printable version of your menu:

  1. Choose the language, theme and typography of the menu in the preview.
  2. Check how it looks in the preview.
  3. Press Download PDF to save the file.

You can Delete Menu from the menu’s Options in the list. Deleting it will also remove all of its sections and dishes.

Once the menu is created you will be able to:

  • Add sections within the menu (for example: “Starters”, “Mains”, “Desserts”).
  • Add dishes within each section, with their price and tags.

Check the sections and dishes guides.
