Close your bar temporarily (absences)
Going to be closed for a few days because of holidays, renovation or any other reason? You can activate a notice so your customers know as soon as they visit your site.
Open the absence manager
Section titled “Open the absence manager”From the bar list, open the Options of the bar you want and press Absence / temporarily closed. A window will open to manage the notice.
Set an absence period
Section titled “Set an absence period”-
Press “Mark absence”
Use the green button next to the list of periods.

Enter the reason
In the Reason field enter why you are closed, for example
holidaysorrenovation. It is required. -
Set the dates (optional)
— Start date: when the closure starts. — End date: when the closure ends.
If you don’t set dates, the notice is always shown. If you only set the start or the end, the notice fits that period. Without an end date, it’s considered closed indefinitely.

Save
Press Save to activate the notice.
What the customer sees
Section titled “What the customer sees”While the period is active, your site shows a banner with the reason. For example:
- If you set a reason and no dates: Closed for reason.
- With a start and an end: Absent for reason: from start to end.
Edit or finish an absence
Section titled “Edit or finish an absence”- To change the reason or the dates, press the Edit pencil on the active period and save the changes.
- To remove the notice, press Finish. The period moves to the history and the banner stops showing.
