What is the difference between an à la carte menu and a fixed-price menu?
Section titled “What is the difference between an à la carte menu and a fixed-price menu?”- À la carte: each dish has its own price.
- Fixed-price: has a fixed price for the whole menu (for example, a daily menu). You can set the days on which it is offered, and the dishes you add do not have an individual price.
Can I change the type of my menu after creating it?
Section titled “Can I change the type of my menu after creating it?”Yes. From Edit Menu you can switch between À la carte and Fixed-price. Note that when switching to Fixed-price, you will need to configure the fixed price and the available days.
How do I order menus, sections and dishes?
Section titled “How do I order menus, sections and dishes?”Drag each element in its list to reorder it and press Save order to keep the change.
Can I move a dish or a section to another place?
Section titled “Can I move a dish or a section to another place?”Yes. Use the Move option in the element’s options: you can move a dish to another section, a section to another menu, or a menu to another bar. Choose the destination in the dialog that opens.
How do I duplicate a menu, section or dish?
Section titled “How do I duplicate a menu, section or dish?”Use the Clone option in the element’s options and choose the destination. The clone is created as an independent copy in the place you indicate.
Can I download my menu as a PDF?
Section titled “Can I download my menu as a PDF?”Yes, from the menu’s Options choose PDF: choose language, theme and typography, check the preview and press Download PDF. This option depends on the limits of your account.
What are tags and who creates them?
Section titled “What are tags and who creates them?”Tags (vegan, gluten-free, spicy…) describe the dishes and are created by the Taverno team. You can only select the available ones. If you need a specific tag, contact support to request it.
Can I use the dishes from my à la carte menu in a fixed-price menu?
Section titled “Can I use the dishes from my à la carte menu in a fixed-price menu?”Yes. Within a section of a fixed-price menu, press Add dish from menu and choose the dishes you want to reuse.
